Archival Remembrance:

As a novice, Sister M. Nathanael began her apostolate in behalf of God's children when she was sent to aid Sister M. Stella O'Malley, who had been assigned to the basement school for the Slovak children in the Holy Ghost Parish, Olyphant. The love for children she then manifested characterized all her school work. She had entered our Congregation with a fine background as an instructor in higher mathematics at the International Correspondence School. All her teaching was characterized by her zealous desire to teach each child and to help him/her grow in wisdom and knowledge. Her long years in the Immaculate Conception School in Lock Haven, left a deep impression on the students and the people. She was a devoted teacher, deeply interested in the needs of each child. In the full sense of the expression, she was a real community Sister, giving to it her full measure of devoted service. After her several years of retirement, God granted her the grace of a holy and happy death. May she rest in peace, blessed by God and by the children she so faithfully instructed.
