Sister M. Celeste Gallagher, IHM

Sister M. Celeste Gallagher, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Sunday, January 30, 1949.

She was born on July 28, 1896 in Archbald, Pennsylvania, and given the name Anna R.  She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Catharine McGlynn Gallagher. She entered the IHM Congregation on December 8, 1915, received the religious habit on August 2, 1916, and made profession of her vows on August 5, 1918.

She is survived by a brother, Francis, and three sisters, Mildred, Beatrice and Catherine.

Interment is at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pennsylvania.
