Sister M. Eugene Murray, IHM

Sister M. Eugene Murray, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Saturday, May 7, 1938.

She was born on March 17, 1865 in the Minooka section of Scranton, Pennsylvania, and given the name Ellen. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Mallen Murray. She entered the IHM Congregation on September 27, 1889, received the religious habit on July 20, 1890, and made profession of her vows on November 22, 1892.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Alice.

Interment is at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pennsylvania.
