Sister M. Donata McFadden, IHM

Sister M. Donata McFadden, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Saturday, November 14, 1953.

She was born on August 18, 1894 in Coal Center, Pennsylvania, and given the name Margaret Elizabeth. She was the daughter of the late Dennis and Elizabeth Neuland McFadden. She entered the IHM Congregation on September 8, 1921, received the religious habit on December 29, 1921, and made profession of her vows on December 27, 1923.

She was preceded in death by two twin sisters, Bertha and Ella E. who both died in infancy, and two brothers, Charles and John J. (Mick).

She is surivived by four brothers, Edward Vincent, Reverend Daniel S.J., Cornelius Paul and John Robert, two sisters, Mary Cecilia Travis and Ruth Webb, nieces and nephews.

Interment is at Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery in Carbondale, Pennsylvania.
