Sister M. Domitilla Benson, IHM

Sister M. Domitilla Benson, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Tuesday, October 15, 1940.

She was born on August 17, 1866 in Springfield, Massachusetts, and given the name Harriet. She was the daugther of the late Edward and Anna Slavin Benson.  She entered the IHM Congregation on March 25, 1892, received the religious habit on November 22, 1892, and made profession of her vows on January 1, 1895.

Interment is at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pennsylvania.
