Sister M. Raphael O'Malley, IHM

Sister M. Raphael O'Malley, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Thursday, February 5, 1948.

She was born on November 16, 1859 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and given the name Rose. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas O'Malley. She entered the IHM Congregation on March 30, 1883, received the religious habit on September 5, 1883, and made profession of her vows on August 25, 1885.

She is preceded in death by a brother, John, and three sisters, Mrs. P. H. Gilgallon, Sister M. Stella, IHM, and her twin, Sister M. Mercedes, IHM.

She is survived by two sisters, Miss Kate G. O'Malley and Miss Nellie O'Malley.

Interment is at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pennsylvania.
