Sister M. Fabian Gallagher, IHM

Sister M. Fabian Gallagher, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Friday, November 19, 1948.

She was born on April 6, 1883 in Archbald, Pennsylvania, and given the name Nellie.  She was the daughter of the late Peter J. and Ellen Tighe Gallagher.  She entered the IHM Congregation on July 2, 1903, received the religious habit on December 31, 1903, and made profession of her vows on December 28, 1905.

She is preceded in death by a sister, Mary Gilroy. 

She is survived by four brothers, Joseph J., Peter A., James B., and Lawrence, four sisters, Elizabeth, Rose M., Anna F. Pierce, and Mildred, nieces and nephews.

Interment is at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pennsylvania.
