Sister M. Chrystostom Bahen, IHM

Sister M. Chrystostom Bahen, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Monday, December 13, 1937.

She was born on October 11, 1852 in Saint Joseph, Pennsylvania, and given the name Jane.  She was the daughter of the late Michael and Bridget Fallihee Bahen, and step-daughter of the late Bridget Golden Bahen. She entered the IHM Congregation on November 1, 1877, received the religious habit on May 8, 1878, and made profession of her vows on June 2, 1880.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Michael; two sisters, Mary Donnelly and Katherine Keenan; and a half-brother, Dennis.

She is survived by nieces and nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews.

Interment is at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pennsylvania.
