Sister M. Lucille Murray, IHM

Sister M. Lucille Murray, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Sunday, August 2, 1942.

She was born on April 29, 1894 in Pittston, Pennsylvania, and given the name Mary Lucy (aka Marie Lucy or Lucy Marie). She was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Lucy McCormack Murray, and the step-daughter of the late Anna Carroll Murray.  She entered the IHM Congregation on November 1, 1913, received the religious habit on August 3, 1914, and made profession of her vows on August 2, 1916.

She is survived by a sister, Sarah, a brother, Thomas, Jr., and a step-brother, James.

Interment is at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pennsylvania.
