Sister Grace Surdovel Presents at Women's and Gender Studies Conference

Sister Grace Surdovel, IHM, EdD, presented her published dissertation research entitled, "Reflections of Closeted Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Questioning Former College Students: A Phenomenology" at the Women’s and Gender Studies Conference held at Kings College on April 10, 2017. This conference, delivered in partnership with Wilkes University, was entitled "Identity at a Crossroads: Third Wave Feminism and Intersectionality" and was open to students, faculty and staff from area high schools and colleges. Grace’s presentation was part of a panel session with a Wilkes undergraduate student. The panel session was entitled, "Speaking Across Time: Dialogues on Queerness." Through the presentation and corresponding dialogue, participants engaged in conversation and questions related to queer issues in K-12 and Higher Education.
