IHM Sisters Bid Fond Farewell to Little Sisters of the Poor

On behalf of the IHM Leadership Team and the IHM Center sisters, a dinner was held on June 18, 2019 in honor of the Little Sisters of the Poor who will be leaving Holy Family Residence in the near future.


IHM EEI Supports Students in Kenya with Book Donation

Sister Rose Marie Mozzachio, director of the IHM Educational Enrichment Institute, donated books to St. Francis Training College in Nyamonge, Kenya.


Sensitizing Ourselves to Unconscious Racial

Forty-three members of the Oblate Sisters of Providence and the three IHM Congregations met at Mount Providence Motherhouse in Baltimore for the 2019 OSP IHM Healing Racism Workshop.

NETWORK’s Nuns on the Bus is hitting the road again in October to hold members of Congress accountable for their votes on the 2017 Tax Bill and the many attempts to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

IHM is Panelist at National Convocation

Sister Ruth Harkins was invited to speak at the Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc.’s (CLINIC) 21st Annual Convening held at the Westin Convention Center in Pittsburgh on May 29 - 31, 2019.


IHM Leads MU Service Trip to Guatemala

From May 19 - 31, Sister Donna Korba, IHM, IHM Associate Alejandra Marroquin, and Marywood University counselor, Larissa Schwass, traveled to Guatemala with nine Marywood University students on the annual Guatemala Alternative Break Service Trip.


Leaders in a Diaspora Moment

From May 29 -June 2, Sisters Helene Cooke, Annmarie Sanders, Katie Sitja y Balbastro and Grace Surdovel attended the Leadership Collaborative Biennial entitled Leaders in a Diaspora Moment held at St. Xavier College in Chicago, Illinois.
