IHM Congregation Statement on the Sanctity of Life

We Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Scranton, Pennsylvania, embrace our call to protect, nurture, and hold sacred all life, especially the most vulnerable in our beautiful yet wounded world.

We stand together as women who affirm the dignity of human life from conception to natural death. We are inspired by the unconditional love of God for all: “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”  John 10:10
