IHM Congregation Welcomes New Candidate

With great joy, Sister Ellen Maroney announces that Miss Elizabeth “Liz” McGill, a graduate of Marywood University, has been accepted into the IHM Candidacy Program.

MMKC Board Members Meet with IHM Leadership

Several board members of the Mother Maria Kaupas Center (MMKC) in Mt. Carmel, PA, visited the IHM Sisters and Marywood University on March 1. Sister Jane Snyder provided a tour of the Learning Commons, Rotunda, and Chapel.

Sister Cecilia Yeon Tji, was invited by a Korean television production company, Korean Catholic Broadcasting, to present her book In Awe of the Gift of Life in Abundance: Spirituality and the Artist.

Sister Romaine Krug turns 104!

Sister Romaine Krug along with her sisters, family, and friends celebrated her 104th birthday at Our Lady of Peace Residence on September 12, 2017. Sister Romaine entered the IHM Congregation on September 8, 1940.

Sister Mary Persico Featured in The Times Leader newspaper

Sister Mary Persico, IHM, Ed.D, president of Marywood University, was featured in the December 31, 2017 issue of the Times Leader.  Sister Mary was profiled among leaders of the region's institutions of higher education.
